Wooooooow...so I am officially the WORST blogger in the history of blogging. Yeah. I didn't have time for a while, and then I just forgot! So, sorry - if anyone even reads this anymore. Who knows. I have tons of pictures to post. Lots has happened since I wrote on here.
In November we moved to Pampa, Tx for Travis to join a Law Firm here. So, here we are, in this cozy little town of 17,000. Quite a downsize from Austin, and an even bigger downsize from the Los Angeles area. We weren't sure how it was going to be, but we actually like it. Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing to do in this town, really less than nothing - and if you know Travis and I at all (mostly Travis) you know that going to movies is like our life blood. The movie theater here is super terrible. SUPER terrible. Only a couple of movies at a time and closed 2 days a week.
Well, if we have done anything it has been to make lemonade out of our lemons - although it really isn't as bad here as I made it sound. Some of our great friends from college (the Rigoulots) already lived here, so they made the transition easy. Travis' parents live in Amarillo, which is an hour away, so that is good too. But in all honesty the people make this town. Everyone here is nice. We have made alot of new friends, and that has been fun. Since there isn't too much to do here you get to know people :-) LOL.
Owen is just growing like crazy. He talks like a tiny adult. He LOVES, LOVES music - and right now his most favorite is the Jonas Brothers. I will admit that Travis and I are okay with that. They are pretty good, and as long as he doesn't get into Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus (which honestly I really do not think I could allow - just the mere sight of that girl is like hearing nails on a chalkboard for me) then we are good.
Owen has been singing songs lately and it is the cutest thing ever. My favorite is "You are my sunshine." I have been singing that song to O since he was known as "Tidbit" and lived in my belly. It is so cute to hear him sing the song...."you make me happy, when skies are great..." SO CUTE!!
OWEN TURNED TWO YEARS OLD ON JANUARY 24th!!! I cannot believe my tiny little boy it TWO!!!
I am on a quest to lose weight and I have lost 12 pounds so far (the stomach bug I had a couple days ago helped with that).
