Well, today is the last day!!! In a few hours Travis will be finished!

He told me that today was the HARDEST day! So, send a few extra prayers up for him, and all the other folks taking this ridiculous test!

Raising the BAR

Yep, that's right. The exam begins in 10 short minutes. Say a prayer for Travis. OR two, or three even. This is going to be a long week.

I know that all of us Law School Wives (There should SERIOUSLY be a club) are THRILLED for this to be over! 

TODAY....

IS 6 MONTHS OLD!!!

I can't believe it. He started of his morning blowing out his diaper (BIG TIME!!) and needing a bath. (which, I was actually fine with because he really needed to go to the bathroom. (sorry, TMI).

So far he is sitting up pretty well by himself, and he is so close to crawling it is scary!! He gets around really well, but it isn't full blown crawling yet. Lately he enjoys spitting all day long :-)

So, here is where I need your help. The last few nights Owen wakes up every hour and a half. No joke. It isn't that he is hungry, but as soon as you pick him up he falls right back to sleep. When you put him down, he wakes up and cries. This is new. Up until now, with an exception here or there, he has been a great sleeper. HELP!! What do I do?

Should We go Private?

I was thinking about this a while ago, but haven't for a while. But, a friend is making her blog private and it made me think about it again.

There are alot of crazies, especially on the internet. Since we post pictures of our family, especially the boy, maybe it is a good idea to go private?

Owen started eating Avocado last Friday!! He LOVES it!! We started him on Peas yesterday, but he isn't a big fan of those so far. (no pics of the peas, only the avocado!)




Also this week was Owen's first time to sit in the shopping cart at the grocery store!


I made diaper cake for Wendy's baby shower! My 3rd one!

WWWWWWIPEOUT!!!!!

I just have to give a shout out to my college roommate Ronni. She WAS ON WIPEOUT!!! It was hilarious to watch the little bits they showed of her. Way to go Ronni. What a sport you are for agreeing to do those crazy, and I'm guessing painful, things! Although, I am not sure that you knew exactly what you were getting yourself into.

So much to say...

So, Owen is 5 months old!!! Can you believe it??? I can't. It's crazy. But, he gets cuter and more fun every single day!!

Speaking of Owen, he sure did poop in the bath tonight!! YUCK!!! I just held him there, dangling in the tub as I tried to figure out what to do. But, lucky for me, Daddy swooped in to save the day. I took the poopy boy to his room and got him ready for bed, and HE cleaned up the poopy mess!! :-) Hooray! Lucky for you, I did NOT take pictures of this.

We started Owen on cereal a few days ago. He LOVES eating from a spoon like mommy and daddy. And he is super cute doing it. Of course we captured his first "meal" in pictures.

We also FINALLY finished Owen's room. Holy cow, that was an undertaking. Ask me if I would do it again. Can you guess what my answer would be??

Catching up on reading blogs today, I noticed that Kelli tagged me on June 1st. Yeah, it has been that long since I read other people's blogs.

So, I will humor her and I guess put 6 things about myself.

1. I love living in a house now. LOVE it. The only thing is...4 bedrooms to clean instead of 2, 2 bathrooms instead of 1, a laundry room, big living room, dining room, and kitchen. AGHHHH! The cleaning never ends. Why does it stress me out so?

2. I am very glad to be back in Texas and I just LOVE Austin. There is so much to do and so many fun people.

3. I have recently started watching "John and Kate plus 8" on TLC. Wow. 8 kids. All under 7 years old. YIKES!! Sometimes it stresses me out to watch it (hmm...do you see a pattern here??)- but it is so entertaining. I have much less on my plate than they do, and that makes me feel better. :-)

4. Things going through my head right now: I really need to finish painting Owen's polka dot wall. I need to make that diaper cake ASAP. I should probably think about making lunch. When does the laundry end? I need to go to Babies R Us. I need to fix my hair and get dressed. My son is so cute. Why can't I get him to take a nap? I need to join Weight Watchers. I have a headache.

5. I like watching "10 years younger" and "What not to wear".

6. My friend Hannah should be having a new baby very soon. I wish I was going to be in Cali to see her.
